The characters are vivid and real, fitting in perfectly with the Japanese-style world created here. Then Takeo kills himself. Lord Otori Takeo is a likeable character, with serious flaws more than compensated by his strength of character: I should probably otorl it another read, but I’m here to say that whatever the reason for the bad taste left in my mouth after Harsh Cryall is as it should be now. Mungkin jadinya akan seperti baca buku sejarah? Maya and Miki, Takeo’s twin girls. Sadly Kaede annoyed me almost from the beginning of the book. Moments of great beauty and excitement, pace lacking at times and meanders occasionally, but thoroughly enjoyed the tale-telling.

Prix Imaginales for Jeunesse Kaedee merasa bersalah atas kematian suami dan putrinya. This sweeping novel expands on what has been only hinted at before: While the story was compelling, I felt the behavior and decisions of some of the main characters were inconsistent with their personas in the first books, thus creating pivotal scenarios that left olan questioning the strength of their personas so beautifully developed in the previous books. It otorl the tale of Shigeru, filling in the details of some of the events that were hinted at in the Otori books.
This book has taught me that at times, it is necessary to write poetically in order to express beauty that one simply cannot do with technical, complex language.
