This book is not yet featured on Listopia. When Jenni was alive, I did not listen to her musicn or follow her career. I knew she was a gifted singer, and a living legend in the Mexican music industry, but I had no idea about the struggles she went through. As a woman, as a mother, as a girl from the inner city, her words hit me hard. I found myself crying while reading this book and I couldn’t put it down. I am thankful Jenni wrote her story, her way. And I’m sorry she is no longer with us.

Good read I felt there was more missingI thought it was gonna be more detailing. I love Jenni but she did not tell us how she felt about her half brother which I think it’s a big part of something that happened in her lifeI also thought she gonna tell us what happen with Esteban I really did like this book.

There is an excellent message regarding domestic abuse so I’m glad the family decided to publish her memoir. It felt incomplete because tragically, her life was cut short, so sad.

Good book to read if you were a fan. I wasn’t Jenni Rivera’s fan but knew who she was reason I decided to read this book.

Learned a bit about her struggles and her success in music which was nice to get to know.

I do recommend, again, for fans. I wasn’t a fan of hers but I admire her for being such a strong woman.

She went through a lot. Although I was not inqurbrantable huge fan, this was a great read. Jenni endured so much and was the true definition of a “ride or die” chick! She deserved so much more than what she received! Hope she is finally resting. No trivia or quizzes yet. They say that when you kept a secret, it eats you up inside, but I felt it was better that way. I wanted to appear strong in front of my children and my family. I didn’t want anybody to know. And I would maintain my persona as Jenni, the Rivera Rebel who had never lost a fight. But deep down inside I knew I had lost a piece of myself that I would never recover. My soul had been shattered, but inquebrzntable the outside world I did just as I had been taught since I was a little girl; I kept my head up and continued forward.
