Emerging 3D finger sensing technologies enable deformation free and hygienic acquisition of ground truth fingerprint information. In addition to improving the user-friendliness and user-privacy, contactless 3D fingerprint identification also enables significantly enhanced limits on the individuality of fingerprints, which makes it very attractive for very large-scale personal identification applications.
In this talk, imaho will discuss on recent advances towards such emerging 3D fingerprint identification technologies and share achieved results.
